Why mid autumn festival only happened for Chinese and not for any other countries?

It is not only Chinese people's holidays. Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and some other Asian countries also celeberate this festival though they call this day in different ways.

Well, it is an ancient Chinese custom, and also, some parts of the world don't celebrate it because China is on the lunar calandar,while others are on the solar calendar, which means those on the lunar calandar celebrate mid-autumn now, not somewhat into October or November, like those in the United States and so.

Because it came from china wich all chinese lived, but now the chinese spread out to malaysia and singapore
