About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

do i need a hong kong transit permit? and if so, how do i get one

i am a ghanaian and i have a chinese mainland multiple visa and i am travelling to taiwan on business to inspect machines i have purchased before they are shipped and have to transit through hong kong.

Yes, you need it. Are you in Ghana now? If so, you should apply through the PRC embassy there or through the HK Immigration Office by posts. The required application documents are a photocopy of your passport, inbound and onward ticket copies, a copy of bank statement, a filled application form, and a recent photo.
