About:Chinese National Day

First ever trip to China that too during National Day Holidays!!!

My trip to Beijing starts from September 30 until October 4. What do you suggest? How about the markets in Beijing? Will they be over-crowded?Or just few peoples in the market?I also have plans to shop for apparels. Will I have any problems?

Hello Rizma, during the Golden Week, it is crowded in every popular city, attraction and market. Anyway, you are suggested to go to the market like Silk Street and Yashow Market very early morning to avoid crazy crowds. Clothing shopping in the large shopping malls is also a fine choice, but it also shall be crowded. Be ready for this!

Be aware that Yashow Market are closed for renovation. Try the Pearl Market near Heavens Temple.

Hello John,
Do you know how long the renovation will take? We were pretty keen on going there?
Thanks!

YaShow market is completely renovated and finished. You can go no problem... Not all of the stalls are occupied as they just reopened and are trying to find more upscale vendors.
