best time to see summer palace

Visiting Beijing early March, 2016.  Will there be enough greenery and/or blossoms to appreciate the beauty at that time of year?

Yes, it a good time to visit. In the early spring, many flowers has come out, such as Peach Blossom, Jasminum nudiflorum, mangnolia and red plum. At that time, you can also g boating in the Kunming Lake.
