Grace, many foreign embassies in PRC require citizens of other countries have a residence permit valid for at least six months if they want to apply the entry permit from China. So I'm not sure whether you can apply through the South Korea consular office in PRC. You should check this with the office first and then prepare the required documents, like passport, application form, round-trip tickets and hotel reservations, and bank statement.
