express application

Hello,
I am going to apply for my china visa at the Mumbai office, but I was wondering if you need any special permissions to apply for an express service? It says something about getting the approval of the consular?? Can anybody help

Sapphire, you can apply for the express service. The approval of the consular officer is usually oral, not a written document or something. So you don't need to get any special permission.
