About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Will this work? SFO-PVG-Cambodia-SFO

Hi all,

I will be traveling to cambodia, making Shanghai a stop in between because flight is a lil cheaper, will the 72 hour visa free work for me? Here's the detail of flights: SFO - PVG - Cambodia - SFO. PVG is an actual stop for 3 days and an extra one hour. Please help, THANKS!

Hi Jenny, as the passage mentions, in Shanghai, the "72-hour period" starts to count from 00:00 of the day after your arrival, so I think the 72-hour free transit works for you.
