beijing to shenyang by train

Hello!Am coming to SY medical collage on the 29th of september. but from my location in Africa flights are only available to Beijing, can i stop in Beijing and use a train to the city? please i need advice, and how do i get the ticket for the train. will it be complicated for a china novice like me? Yes, transfer in Beijing is great! Upon getting to PEK, take shuttle bus line 3 to Beijing railway station,  where you can take a bullet train to SY North. The travel time is about 5 hours. You can buy the tickets upon your arrival at the railway station, for the train schedule is quite dense, you can easily get the ticket.After reach the North railway station, take the subway line 2 to the medical university directly. Take the Exit D2 and walk about 250 yards, you will reach the campus.
