About:Hong Kong Airport Express Travel Pass

5-6 days in Hong Kong with Airport Express Travel Pass

Hi everyone,
My partner and I will be in HK from December 10-15. What pass would you guys recommend? If we get the ae travel pass HKD300, will the roundtrip airport express be used 1 way on Dec10 and then the other back on Dec15? Thanks

Yes, the travel pass is a nice choice, which includes two airport express journeys and three-day unlimited MTR rides. The rides on AE can be decided on your own, so surely you can use that on different days.

You will stay for 5-6 days in the city, so you need to top up the card, and it will function like a normal octopus cards, which can be used on the bus and ferry, too.

Our place will be at TST station area. From what I've heard, there is a bus (A21 I think) that goes straight to our area. Would it still be worth getting the AE travel pass?

Yes, you are right, the bus A21 will lead to the TST area, and it is more economical than airport express. If you do not want to use the airport express, you don't need to buy a travel pass, but buy an ocotopus card directly. With the card, you can also get a discount when taking buses and MTR.
