About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

My brother invite me to Shanghai for a visit and i am trying to apply for a Q2 visa instead of Q1

so i don't need to supply the relationship certificate ?

Roger, generally speaking, if you apply for the Q2 type, the relationship certificate is not required. You just need to submit a copy of your brother's passport and residence permit.
