is there a way that i can get my passport back faster than the 15 working days?

How can I shorten the 15 working days waiting period? I want to renew my residence permit for another year.  this takes 15 working days and I hope there is a faster way. My mom is sick and normally I have to extend my residence permit before the end of october. Now I want to extend it and go home so fast as possible and come back next year in March.

Niells, you should talk to the officer of the local exit and entry administration bureau and if they can provide expedited service for you. If they agree to do so, then you can get it faster.
