About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Vietnamese passport got Dubai (u.a.e) visa can transit in mainland China or Hongkong,right?

So can I transit and go out of Shanghai and Hongkong airport for under 24hours? Or do I need to apply one?

If you transit less than 24 hours in Shanghai or HK, I don't think you need to apply any entry permit in advance.
