About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

As I have Italian Passport, I understand that I will be able to use the 72 hour visa, right?

I am flying Shanghai for 2 days in December, departing from London. Also, I would like to go to Japan, The Philippines - Layover of 3.35hs in Shanghai PVG - and come back to the UK - Layover of 4.15 hs in Shanghai PVG.

If so, I wonder if I can apply in advance in London or the only way is to apply at the Chinese airport?

Thanks,

Franco

Fanco, you needn't apply in advance in London. You just inform your airline at least 30 minutes before the plane lands. Then they inform the airport. When you arrive, just follow the leading signs to find the window where you get a stamp on your passport if you provide all required documents.
