About:China Private Visit Visa

Is it necessary to get attestation of marriage certificate from Ministry of external affairs?

My name is Dinesh, from India. I am working in china. My mother and wife is coming next month to visit me. They already have S1 visa. Do I need marriage certificate attestation from ministry of external affairs in India. Is it necessary.

Yes, you need to attest the marriage certificate at the Ministry of External Affairs and the PRC embassy in India. After you enter PRC, you should have the certificate translated by a translation company and stamp the company's common seal on it so that you can apply for the temporary residence permit for them.
