About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Luggage claim

Hi there,
We are traveling from London to Bangkok with China Southern via Guangzhou airport. It confuses me that at the "Procedure" section you write we need to claim the luggage. Our transit time to Bangkok is 2 hours. Do we need to claim our lugagge at Guangzhou or it will be directed to the plane to Bangkok?
Otherwise the site contains very helpfull informations!

Thank you

Klara, if you fly with the connecting air tickets, you needn't claim your luggge. If you hold two separate tickets, then it's possible that you need to claim your luggage to board another plane. Anyway, please call your airline and ask if your luggage is transited to Bangkok directly.
