About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Travel Conditions

One condition of the 72 Hr. transit visa is that you can't leave the city. Can I go to the Great Wall on a day trip if I am in Beijing? Some sections of the Wall are 40-90 Km away. Would that be a violation?

Nope, you can make use of your transit to visit the wall. It's fine.
