Can I fill up the visa application form by handwriting?

Is the application form need to be typewritten? I've read in their requirements that the form must be typewritten when filling it up. Nowadays people don't use typewriters.

Yes, the application form should be typewritten, but you don't need to use a typewriter. You can just download the form onto your computer, fill it out, and then print the form.
