hi, we are a group of 4,planning to visit Canton Fair in Oct 2015. Intend to book hotel (James Joyce Coffetel), but relise there are various location, but room photo look similar & rather confuse. any idea, if there are close to each other? Address shown was (1) James Joyce Coffetel Hotel at No 461 Tianrun Road Tianhe district, (2) James Joyce Coffetel Hotel (Tianhebei) at No 461 Tianrun Road,Taikoo Hui. tianhesports centre, east railway station, Tianhe district (Teemall/East Railway Station), are they same location? and (3) Denise Hotel Tianhebei No 146-150 Tiangyang Road Tianhe District (Teemall/East Railway Station); are these 3 hotels same or near each other? how to get to Canton Fair from these hotels?If we want to visit Pearl River, how much it will cost for Taxi fare from Hotel to the cruise? how should we tell the taxi driver? Loh, I checked hotels you mentioned on the map and some booking website. They should refer to the same hotel. You need to take no. 406 bus on the other side of Tianrun Road and get off at Gangding (岗顶) station. Then walk around 300 meters to read Gangding Subway Station. Then take subway line 3 and get off at Kecun (客村) Station and change subway line 8 and get off at Pazhou (琶洲) Station. Then get out from Exit A or B. You can find the trade center easily. If you catch a taxi from your hotel to Tianzi Wharf, it costs at least CNY 30. There you can take a cruise on the Pearl River. You can tell the driver 师傅, 我要去天字码头.

hi Thank you for the information. What if I take a taxi to Canton Fair, any idea, how long it will take? Or any other hotel that is more convenient to the Canton Fair? what about Xuelong Hotel or Spring Time Hotel Tianhe, easy to get to Canton Fair? Also what are the recommended shopping malls & sight seeing to recommend? Thank you :-)

Loh, it's around 10 kilomters. If there is no traffic jam, I think you can get there with 30 minutes. Xuelong Hotel and Spring Time Hotel are still a bit far from the trade center. If you really want to book a hotel near the trade center, you might book Langham Place Guangzhou or Westin Hotel Pazhou. They both are located on the other side of the trade Center. However, it isn't cheap. It costs around CNY 600 to 700 per night. If you live in Tianhe, you can go to Teemall located at no.228, Tianhe Road. When you go to take Pearl River Cruise, you can go shopping on Beijing Road. It is very close to the Tianzi Wharf. If you plan to see some tourist attractions, Canton Tower, Shamian Island and Chimelong Resort.
