About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

I am going to China in October but would like to go to HK for weekend.

But i think i only have a single entry permit to china. So I assume when i land and enter mainland and cannot leave and go to HK and come back into mainland. Is there a way round this. Getting a visa from HK to mainland whilst i am there takes time i assume
thanks

Hey, Paul, after you visit Hong Kong, you can go back to mainland by air, staying for 72 hours in one city qualifying for 72-hour free transit policy, and then leave for a third country. By doing so, you don't need to get another entry permit again.
