About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

China on a motorcycle

Hi I am an American citizen living long term in Ireland
Is it possible for me to travel South from Mongolia to Vietnam on a motorcycle? Can I travel alone or is a guide necessary as I would prefer to travel alone. I do not want to go to Tibet. If so I would like to apply for a double or multiple entry type with 30 day stays with 12 months validity for the visa. Thank you very much for your time. Anthony

Anthony, if you want to visit by motorcycle, you should use a travel agency in Ireland to entrust an international travel agency to get a visa notification form for you. Then you can apply for the entry permit. It's hard to say whether you can get the multiple entry type, but I think the chance is not big.

Sorry, Anthony, as you are applying for the tourist type, the longest stay duration is 90 days at most. I don't think it's likely to get a singe entry valid for six months.
