How fit do you need to be to hike the Gubeikou section of the wall

We are planning on hike the Gubeikou and Jinshanling sections of the wall on two separate days in a few weeks. Is it a very strenuous hike or can we take it slowly?

Jinshanling is more energy consuming compared with Gubeikou and it takes about 1.5-4 hours based on different hiking routes. Gubeikou is no much difference in time consuming. So 2 seperate days are enough for these two sites. As for how slow you can hike along them, it depends on your chosen route; if you are going to hike for a short section, you can hike slowly. Have fun~
