90 days Visitor visa for Parents in Law?

Hi, I am working in shanghai with Z type. I would like to bring my parent in law to shanghai for 3 months. I could have gone for S2. But the problem is that the mother name at my wife's passport and Given name at my Mother-in-law's passport has spelling mismatch. Can I still apply S2 for them? or can I get 90 days visitor type?

Beno, in order to apply S2 type for them, your wife's birth cetificate and your marriage certificate are required. If her name on your wife's birth certificate is different from the one on the her passport, I think it might cause a problem for her application. For visitor type, the validity is 90 months. However, duration of stay is usually 30 days. It means that they can stay 30 days at most every time if they acquire single entry L type.
