About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

I have applied for hongkong visa almost 40 days ago.

I still haven't heard anything .
I need to fly in two weeks time.
What should I do ?

You can call the hotline of HK Immigration Department to inquire the application status, the number is (852) 3160 8663.

I did but I don't have the application file number to quote . What should I do ?
I only have the collection number given by the consulate
