About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

Regarding Tourist visa for PRC.

Sir/Madam,
I am Nepali american, I would like to visit China couple days while im in Nepal. 1. can i get tourist L type from Nepal? 2. do i have to use Nepali passport? 3. how long take time to get it? 4 do you guys close during Daisain Holidays? what extra document do i need. Please help

Rajesh, you can apply for a L type in Nepal. Do you also have US passport? If so, you should use the one you used to enter Nepal to apply. It takes four working days. Usually, the embassy is closed during Nepalese holidays.

If you plan to visit Mainland by entering Tibet, then you have no choice but join a group tour arranged by qualified tour agencies because individual foreigners are not allowed to enter Tibet.
