About:Chinese Embassy in Nigeria

must I get an invitation before I am given visa, considering am going to china for business strictly

Yes, you must get two invitation letters, one from the trade partner in China, another from a duly authorized unit, such as the Chamber of Commerce and the provincial or municipal foreign affairs office in PRC.
