About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

can I apply for a residence permit.

dear sir or madam.
I am married to a chinese lady, we got married on the 6th of September 2010.
My wife and I live in the UK.
I have just renewed my passport. so it is now valid until 2026
But we are looking to go to China next year, so can I apply for a residence permit.

Hugh, you are going to China together with your wife? If so, you can first apply for a Q1 visa before you go, and then get a temporary residence permit within 30 days after your arrival.
