About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

Transit visa in Hong Kong.

Hello, i have Sudanese passport, i'm permanent resident in Australia, i'm travelling back to Sudan for holiday, i have 22 hours transit in Hong kong in the return ticket. do i need transit permit? If yes how long the processing time in Brisbane.

Samer, if you don't leave the airport lounge, the transit permit is not required. Otherwise, you need to apply for one in advance. If the consulate deals with your application, it only takes four working days for the approval. If the consulate sends your application to HK Immigration Department, it takes four to six weeks to process the transit permit.
