About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hour transit london to Shanghai via Beijing (hotel overnight then on to HK before returning to UK

We travel to Shanghai via Beijing from London on the 5th September.overnight stay in a hotel in Shanghai Pu Dong then on to Hong Kong 6th September and then Singapore on 10th back to London on the 12 September can we apply for the 72 hour transit visa given all our flight bookings and seats are confirmed.

Rod, as you travel in two mainland cities, the 72-hour free transit policy is not applicable to you, but if your total layover in Beijing and Shanghai does not go beyond 24 hours, you can make use of the 24hrs direct transfer policy.
