About:China Family Reunion Visa

visa if I want to live in China with my 8 year old daughter and her mother (we're not married)

What sort could I get for this? Can my 8 year old daughter invite me?

Williem, if your daughter is a Chinese citizen, you should apply for the Q type. If not, you should apply for the S type. I think you should be invited by the kid's custodian on the behalf of her as the kid is a minor.
