About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Double entry needed?

Is a double entry visa required if we are flying into mainland China, visiting HK and then fly out from our entry point?

Cathy, after your visit Hong Kong, do you fly from HK to the entry point and then to a third country? If yes, it's possible that you can mak use of the free transit policy. If you can use the free transit, you may only need one entry.

Hi Andrew, we were thinking of visiting HK via train or ferry for a couple days and then returning to our entry point and spending a couple more days there before flying home.

Then I think you need to get a double-entry type.
