How many stops are there on the 916 express bus? I would like to make sure that I get off on the last stop as I have read that a lot of scammers in uniform come on at stops 9 and 10 to convince foreigners to get off!

Ann, there are 19 stops if you take no. 916 Express. The earliest one departs at 06:00 from Dongzhimen. It takes around 60 to 70 minutes to reach Huairou North Street, the 14th stop. Then you need to catch a van. It takes another 20 minutes. Or you can wait for the public bus (Shayu-Dongtai). It departs every 30 minutes. It brings you to Mutianyu Roundabout. On your way back, you can take the same bus to reach Huairou North Street and then catch no.916 Express.
