Yichang city centre shopping and attractions

1. According to your limited time, you can go to Wangjia River Park. It's one of popular scenic spots in this city. The park is about 1.7 miles away from the hotel.
About the shopping mall, you can go to Crown New World Shopping Mall. There are many stores that can meet your demands. It's located at Jucheng Road, Wujiagang District.

2. Wuyi Square is considered one of the most properous area in this city. So you can take this place as the city cnter. The taxi fare won't expensive compared with big cities such as Beijing and Shanghai. To Wangjia River Park, cab fare is about CNY 10. To the Shopping Mall, it costs CNY 5 to 10.
In addition, most buses costs CNY 1 per person. But according to your time, you are suggsted to take the taxi to the destination directly.

I am local people. I would like to suggest that Yiling Square can be a good place to shopping. It's downtown of the city. Many shopping malls around here. There is a night-market, locating in CBD (just nearby the Yiling Square). Lots of local food and something interesting are sold alone the road. Juts like night-market in Thailand or Taiwan.
Also riverside park can be a good place to visit, the landscape is pretty good. You can walk or ride bicycle alone the Yangtze river. Some traditional buildings and churches locates alone the river. And you can hang around the bar or cafe in Jiefang Road, nearby the river.
I have to say, many Chinese people can not understand English, so it might be difficult for you to communicate with taxi driver or ask the way. Taxi fare is around 20 CNY from your hotel to central. You can also take BRT, getting off at Xiling 1st Road Station.
