About:Yangtze River

transportation from Yichang to Zhangjiajie

Hi,
We are from Canada and planning a trip to China.
We have booked a cruise on Yangtze that stops in Yichang. The next stop in our itinerary is Zhangjiajie.
Can you please suggest a transportation path from Yichang to Zhangjiajie on Sep 12, 2024?
Would a taxi drive 4 h to Zhangjiajie?

You will have to take bullet trains with a transfer in Changsha. First, the train from Yichang to Changsha, then from Changsha to Zhangjiajie, taking about 8 hours in total. Taking a taxi doesn't work due to the long distance.
