If we really want to go to Ngong Ping , how we need to solve this problem without using cable car?if take bus and how many hour can be reached there? and how much for the fees of the bus ? As per the info we need to reach Tung Chung for the ticket of cable car if by bus is it also same ?

Yes, the official website says that the cable car will close from 7th to 24th September. In despite of the cable, you can take bus no.23 at Tung Chung Town Centre, get off at Ngong Ping directly. The duration is about 50 mins. And it costs 17.2 HKD per person. You can buy the bus ticket after getting on the bus. If by bus, you can also start from other places other than Tung Chung. Where are you located? So maybe I can figure out an easier bus route for you.
