Chinese Working Visa for a Libyan Citizen

Hello,
I'm trying to apply for a Work Z type in China, I've already contacted some friends in China and they said that I have to make a health certificate in China First before I can go on with my Work Z type paperworks.

for all I know..issuing a Work Z type or at least an initial visa comes before traveling to China and making the Health Certificate..but the guy helping me with my paper works in china says that I must issue a travel entry permit then go to china and make a health certificate and a temp residence permit.

if what he says is true..I'm guessing it's because of our unstable political situation in Libya for the time being.

Note: The Chinese embassy in Libya has been closed for a really long time now.

what Should I do?

Milad, as far as I know, it's not required that applicants for Z type entry permits have to take a medcal exam in China before they can get the Z type. I have never heard such a saying. However, it's possible that you need to get a medical report in the country from which you are doing the application. And the medical report should be contained in the application documents. Since the PRC embassy is your country is closed, you can apply from nearby countries.

I think you might try to contact Chinese embassy in Egypt and ask if they can handle your application. If so, you might go there to apply.
