Please help me decide which hotel is more suitable to my trip in Guangzhou?

Between
1. China Hotel, A Marriott hotel on Yuexiu Park station and
2. Holiday Inn Shifu on Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street.

My condition is my flight arrives almost midnight,
First day I have to take a cap to Motorcycle market on Zengcha Rd.
Second day go to a fair at China Import Export fair and afternoon visit some nightlife, please recommend beer bars street for white collar people.
Third day go to shopping at Onelink international plaza and looking for a shopping place for gadgets and camera market (Please recommend) then go to airport at night with 2-3 HUGE baggage. My flight back is midnight.

I'm just worried about transportation if I stay at Holiday Inn because of I have many belonging by the flight back. But at the Marriott hotel is quite far from shopping. Isn't it?
