About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

do i need a visa or be eligible for 72 hour transit permit

im australian citizen and my plan is sydney direct to beijing stay there 3 days and then fly to vietnam by shanghai but in shanghai im only transiting for 4 hours. so am i eligible for the 72 hour transit

Sorry, as you will transit in two Chines cities, you are not eligible for the 72hr free transit policy.
