please I need urgent help

Please I need help..I went for interview on friday and after my encounter with the consular I wasn't given any receit or visa either...I really don't know what the problem was because I answered all the questions fluently but after everything the lady just gave me back all my documents without saying anything and I was seriously confused but someone told me to go and sit in the hall and wait for sometime which I did and I waited and I wasn't getting any result so I went back and another man told me that I should re-apply as he walked away but seriously it wasn't funny at all....please someone tell me what could be the problem and its solution because I've already booked for a flight to leave on 28th of august and I need the china student visa badly...please someone help me out. And also is to possible I re-apply for another interview and go for the interview again next week and also get the visa next week because of the urgency?
