physical exam done in my country or not?

can I apply for a X-1 Visa without a Physical examination done in my country and come to China and take the physical examination?

James, normally speaking, the medical report is not required when applying for the X1 type. So you don't need to take the physical examination in your country. When you come to China, you need to take it to get a residence permit.

Well, you can double check whether the medical report is needed for X1 type at the embassy.
