About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Visa to China. Would it be possible for me to go there? what are the requirements?

I am a filipino citizen. I wanted to visit China. But I dont have an account. I have a friend who is willing to shoulder all the expenses who is working in China.

If your friend who is willing to shoulder your expense, then I think you can apply for the L type. He has to write a letter to guarantee that all your expense will be taken care of by him. You should also ask him to send you an invitation letter so that you needn't be bothered by booking air tickets and hotels. Please remember that he should send you copies of his passport and valid resident permit for employment.

L type refers to tourist type. Usually, a single entry one is valid for three months and its duration of stay is around 30 days. If you got this one, you can stay 30 days at most.
