NZ Passport expiry. What is the expiry situation with China?

I am intending to travel to Beijing for businesss purposes and only intend to be there a maximum of 4 days. My NZ passport and APEC card both expire 1st March 2016. NZ are bringing out a new 10 year passport and was hoping that I wouldn't need to renew it until early next year.

Audrey, since you have valid NZ passport and APEC card, you can use them to enter before they expire.
