About:China Visa Application in UK

will this effect my visa application?

Hi i am going to be staying in china with a friend for a few months and then will be travelling afterwards. but i have not bought a return flight as i will be buying a straight flight somewhere else whilst i am in china.

Joe, if you can't provide the return air ticket, then you might ask your friend to send you an invitation letter. Hotel booking isn't required if you got the invitation letter.

What do you mean by invitation letter is it just a straight forward ( I invite ....)or is there specifics you must write on given letter

It should contain the following information:

1. name, sex and birth date of the invitee
2 itinerary: when to arrive, when to leave and where they are going
3. inviter's information: name, tel, address, official stamp and valid signature.
