About:Chinese Embassy in Iran

Is it necessary to have invitation to getting a tourist type?

Hello,
As i have heard there is no need to have invitation for tourist visa but the security in front of door said you must have an invitation letter.

Farshad, according to what is written on the website of Chinese embassy in Iran, the applicants just need to provide round-trip air tickets and hotel booking if they don't have the invitation letter.
