About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

flight from Phils. to Shanghai and Phils to hongkong

hi we are going for a caribbean cruise we are coming from the philippines going to shanghai, do we need to process visa here in the phils or can we take 24h free transit? tnx

You mean that you will go from the phils to Shanghai by air and then go to Hong Kong by ship, right? If so, as long as the time you spend in Shanghai is not more than 24 hours, you can take the 24h free transit. If the time is longer, you need to process an entry permit in advance.
