About:Shanghai Transportation by Air

From Pudong to National Exhibition & Convention Center, Shanghai.

Hi..

I am arriving at Pudong International Airport and would like to visit CIFF at NECC.
How long does it take from Pudong to NECC ? & How much does it cost?

Take the subway line 2 from the airport to Xujing East Stataion. Take the Exit 6 and walk about 750 yards to the center. The fare is CNY9 and the travel time is about 100 mins.

If you want to make it faster, you can take the maglev to Longyang Road, and then trasnfet to subway line 2. The travel time is about 60 mins in total.

Beside go to NECC for CIFF , I will also go to the New Int'l Expo Centre | World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre for Furniture China 2015.
Any advise in what area should I stay? so it is convenience for me to go to both place. Thanks

I suggest you stay near the People’s Square, where you can have easy access to hotels in different standards and subway lines to these convention centers.

If I stay at Holiday Inn Express Zhabei, how can I go to NECC | New Int'l Expo Centre | World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre ?

To NECC
Walk about 760 yards to the railway station to take the subway line 3 to Zhongshan Park, where you can transfer to line 2 to Xujig East Station. Take the Exit 6 and walk about 0.6 miles to the destication.

To New Int'l Expo Centre
Take the subway line 3 from the railway station to Century Avenue, where you can transfer to line 2 to Longyang Road. Take the Exit 3 and walk about 0.6 miles to the destination.

To World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre
There is no direct bus or subway mode, you need to transfer and walk a lot. Therefore, I suggest you take a taxi, and the fare is about CNY50.

You can take the Maglev Train to get to Longyang Road Station first. Then take subway line 2 to Century Avenue and line 4 to Railway Station, Exit 4.
After arriving, walk northwest around 800 yards to find the hotel.
