Applying for a visa for China in India?

Hi, I suspect from what you note above that it is not possible, but is there a embassy in India where I could attempt to get a Chinese entry permit?
Presuming as I do not have the opportunity whilst in the UK, my only other option is to do it in Macau/ HK?

Zoe, you can possibly apply from India, not limited to Macau or Hong Kong. There are three branches of CVASC in India, which are respectively located at New Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. You should choose one according to the place that you are living.
