Well, you can ask your company to get a work permit for you at first. Then change your M type into a Z type at the local exit & entry administration office. Then apply for a new residence permit or renew your current one.

For you, you should provide your CV, authenticated and translated non-criminal certificate (original version), translated diploma certificate (original and copy versions), physical examination record, passport and previous entry records.

For your employer, he/she has to prepare application form, application letter, business license copy and enterprise organization code.

If your employer recruited foreign staff before, they clearly what documents are required and what you should provide. Usually it's them who acquire the work permit for you. You just need to submit the documents required by them.

It depends on your company. The internship can count as work experience. If they really wants to hire you, I think they can get the work permit for you.
