Divorce, will my Q visa get cancelled?

Hi,
I am a foreigner with a family type because my husband(also a foreigner) has a working visa here. If we get divorced, will my visa (up to January) get cancelled right away or will they let it go until January?

Kayleen, I do think you can leave until January. The exit and entry adminsitration won't know you get divorced if nobody informs of the news.

Kayleen, according to the rule, once you divorced, you should have visited the entry and exit management to change your Q type into other type. This means that you can't stay with Q type anymore. This is for sure. If your ex-partner reports you to the bureau, your Q type will be cancelled by the bureau too.
