Renewal of Resident Permit in China

Currently, holding a resident permit due in Oct. My hubby is a China citizen. What is the renewal procedures? Can I work?

Liu, you should apply for the extension 30 days before the residence permit expires. You may need to submit an application form, a medical report, a recent passport style photo, your marriage book, an invitation letter from your husband, and your husband's ID card. Just take all the documents to the local exit and entry administration bureau and apply for the extension. You can't work with this kind of residence permit. If you want to work, you should change the Q1 type into a Z type and then renew your residence permit.
