Invitation Letter L visa

Hi,

I 'm traveling to China and my friend doesn't have a scanned copy of her ID to accompany the invitation letter.
But she does know her Chinese ID number. Do you think this is enough, along with her passport copy? Is it absolutely necessary to have a scanned copy of chinese ID?

Thanks

I think this is enough. The passport copy can be used for the application.
